so far with my exams im feeling pretty good
today i sat my last 2 exams and i was soo happy/glad/over the moon etc
..
that was until i got my maths exam back
..
to put it plainly, i did crap.
real crap.
i knew i wouldnt do well..but i really didnt think i would do this crap
:(
i kind of set a standard for myself..coz i see what i generally get in class, and then just set myself a target..and i was kind of really off that target.
then everyone around me is getting A's and A+'s..
yea. this is probably such a trivial thing to feel sad about..there are a lot worse things than getting a mark which will become a C anyway i know..
i just dont feel to good about myself at the moment. i thought i was over the whole 'low self esteem' thing but its back again..
on a brighter note, damien won australian idol!

ive been really wierd lately.
one minute im happy as anything, and the next im just really angry or depressed.
its horrible.
well its kinda been a bad week. the rents have been really bad, and my teacher died after 2 months battling cancer, so everyone was crying all day. even the teachers, which was hard to watch. usually their so strong, you know?..its been a wierd week.
it was even wierder..i came home after school on the day that mr. goold died, and they i went to watch the news and a man with the same name, mr. goold, died in sydney in a road accident or something. i wasnt really paying attention coz i was really freaked out about the same name thing. how coincidental.
i need something really good to read.
whenever im in a shitty mood i find my favourite fic and read, it always makes me feel better. like i forget about my problems and feelings for a sec, and everythings so cool.

on school holidays at the mo, and im very bored.
i really reallllllllllllllly need a job. im going for an interview today actually. and im nervous. yeah. quite nervous.
anyway, soccer was on this morning! CROATIA drawed with AUSTRALIA 2-2
even tho croatia (my country of heritage) didnt get in, im still happy coz the aussies made it through! GO THE SOCCCEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!
...we play italy next.

well my exams are over.
and they were so easy.
like, yes im in year 10 and they arent all that important, but i mean i found them all pretty easy. particularly english and history.
but i mean..my commerce exam had a find a word in it worth 4 marks.
..i dont really get why it was there.
but oh well.
..i think i did really well and im happy!
..next week is work experience week! im going to a nursing homeand anm going to be like a leisure coordinator! ...how funny.
and tomorro i have bec's sweet 16th (and christine's) !!!
..i am so excited.
it is going to be SO GODDAM FUN! |

..the miners in beaconsfield got out safely thank god!
..they'd been underground for 14 days, and actually walked out of the mineshaft, without assistance at all!..they are such an inspiration.
..but no matter how great that it, it's made bittersweet. one miner didnt make it out alive, and veteran journalst for 60 minutes richard carlton had a heart attack after asking this really tough question at a media conference. so so sad. they will be truly missed.
..one thing i love about where i live is that even though none of us really knew the miners, we still feel so many emotions for them, and were crying when they got trapped, cherring when they came out alive.
really makes you feel australian when you turn on the news and want to cry and jump to someone'e rescue.
..and how awesome are all those that risked their lives to go down the mines and rescue them?!
...as well as all the families and others that helped out, and were so so patient.
..lovely way to greet me at 6.00 in the morning, when i got up and saw that. |

theyve been underground in a 1.2 by 1.2 metre square thing for 12 days now, since ANZAC day.

we're coming up to exams soon, and to be honest im actually really confident.
for once i dont think im going to fail.
im actually, like...excited?!
its so wierd, coz even with tests i get all nervous and go blank.
and even tho i get a decent mark, i still worry that im gonna fail.
i really fear failing.
anything really.
but neway.
i dunno, exams for us are in 3 weeks, and im feeling so confident.
english is an essay, which im good with. i can write an essay.
history is also an essay and paragraph answers. i can also do that.
geography is paragraph answers and definitions im hearing. that's ok too.
commerce is definitions, case studies and answers. i like commerce so ill be ok.
maths...well ok so i need to study alot for that one :P
and IT is just, like, talking about RAM and ROM and stuff. that should be..ok. hopefully
*crosses fingers*
and i no these are only year 10 exams, so everyone's like who cares they amount to nothing, but we're being told to take them seriously, so i am.
im feeling so good, which when it comes to schoolwork hasnt happened in awhile.
this is so so good for me.
am very happy. :)

i watched the alternate ending!!
IT IS SOOO SWEET!!
..but i dunno.
just didnt seem right to me.
like i loved that i saw them together, that what i wanted in the first place.
but i dunno.
there was just something..missing??
..aw well. the rest of the movie makes up for the ending!
i have now watched it 3 times in 2 days!

last night i watched pride and prejudice with my sister.
it was amazing.
the actual way it looked was amazing, like a fairytale or summin and the shots and colour were so fantastic!
...kiera knightely was also awesome!!
..i can see why she was nominated for an award now.
..but im sad now coz i really want a mr.darcy or mr.bingley for myself!!
LOL!
both characters were so so sweet..even tho i thought mr.darcy was a bit pompous at first..
but ive been doing some "research" and apparently in america the film had a different ending.
with the one i watched, it finished with elizabeth walking out of the study after confessing her love for darcy..apparently in america there's another scene where they kiss or something??
..i would really love to see that scene.coz personally i actually wanted to see them get married or at least together at the end of the film but i read the book and realised thats not how it goes!!

to all of you that celebrate it,
i hope you had a very happy easter!!(coz im melbourne today is easter monday morning, so sorry if im not really up with the time zones!)
..and an even better abundance of chocolate from the easter bunny!!
lol, i no its not all about the chocolate..
but still the chocolate is like an awesome bonus, right??

in the entry before i did that..thingo..and i got CHOCOLATE IS LOVE!!
which has proven to be so totally correct
anyway.
i was watching the news and this english report was saying that although chocolate was in some ways good for your health and made you happier, more often than not it has like a depressing effect because by the end of its manufacturing the happy chemicals are usually all gone or overweighed by the sugar levels of the chocolate!!..which in turn leaves you a bit depressed.
oh and also..the Pope's address this year was good...to stop all the fighting in the Middle East and for the return on world peace. hopefully that'll come about in the near future!!
my easter message to you all - BE HAPPY AND EAT ALL THE CHOCOLATE YOU WANT!!
lol, ok im so gonna be depressed for the next week and a half!
